Since operations inception, GUILAB has enabled major telecommunications operators to transfer all of their international traffic on the submarine cable thus allowing them to benefit from a better quality of service at unprecedented costs.
The Guinean consumer has been able to benefit from these savings which have resulted in a substantial decrease in the price of the Megabit per second. This has led to an extremely strong Internet usage growth in Guinea.
With an initial capacity of 40 Giga bits per second allocated on the cable, GUILAB currently operates the equivalent of 57 STM1, and shows a remarkable availability rate of 100%.
The technical team consists of Engineers and Technicians specifically trained to maintain and operate submarine cable landing stations. They ensure the quality of the network of telecommunications operators in Guinea.
